This place has lost the run of itself.

Ordered the California Beef Birria Burrito through Deliveroo and paid €4.65 extra for additional beef, yet there was virtually no beef in the burrito. I am not exaggerating, there was none until the last 2 to 3 cm at the very end. For most of the burrito, I was eating rice, potatoes and lettuce.

According to the menu, this burrito includes beef birria, cheese, salsa roja and guacamole, but there was no guacamole at all, and if there was cheese, it was barely noticeable, maybe a pinch. I am not even convinced the meat used was birria, as it tasted like standard beef.

I will be claiming back the €4.65 for the extra meat, but the bigger issue is why accept an order if you do not have the ingredients to fulfil it properly.

What makes this even more frustrating is the lack of consistency. I ordered the exact same meal about a week ago and it arrived with a side portion of birria, but none was included this time.

Even if ingredients were running low, at the very least the burrito should be layered properly, instead of leaving customers eating filler for most of it.

You might think this is overreacting, but we are talking about a €20 burrito.

portions are a good size. arrived cold, barely any sauce, didnt get everything i wanted in it (missing ingredients), didnt recieve my tortilla chips. service was fast tho

I was really disappointed with my recent visit to Boojum. I ordered a burrito bowl and found a large dead fly in it. When I went back to let the staff know, the person who served me didn’t apologise or offer a refund. They just made me a new bowl, which wasn’t even properly filled and felt very half-hearted.
Definitely not the level of hygiene or customer service I’d expect. Really put me off going back.

Visited Galway for the first time today. We love Mexican food, but I’m sorry this cafe is quite filthy for a place that serves food, clearly understaffed. Nobody cleans the toilets, outside waiting corridor smells awful. Even my little daughter admitted that. Food was tasty however tables were sticky and everything needs a serious clean up with domestos (highest strength) I honestly leaving the review for a feedback, I hope that helps

Used to be a great spot and really well managed. Unfortunately the last two times I’ve been there it hasn’t been as good as it used to be. So many of the toppings are unavailable, the queues are huge, the bill wasn’t calculated correctly at the till, drinks forgotten (had to ask 3 times for the same drink) and the trash station is absolutely overflowing. Disappointing as it was always so good until recently. Also saw a member of staff take half a bite out of a tortilla chip and throw it into a large silver bowl behind the food stations…hopefully it was to be discarded and not served 👀
